The Grove Glamping in Cromer features five stunning Mongolian yurts and a luxury Shepherd's Hut with a hot tub, all just a short stroll from Cromer Beach along the North Norfolk Coast.
This site is perfect for family glamping holidays, often hosting groups of friends and families who enjoy gathering around the fire pit in the evenings, sharing a glass of wine and stargazing while the children are cozily tucked away in their bunk beds.
Each yurt comes equipped with a wood-burning stove, electricity, and bedding, ensuring a snug night's sleep. Outside, you'll find an undercover dining area complete with a fridge, stove, and BBQ. The 28-foot Shepherd's Hut boasts a hot tub, pizza oven, and table tennis on its sun deck. Inside, you'll discover an ensuite shower and toilet, underfloor heating, a dining and lounge area, along with a triple bunk and king-size bed.
The Grove Hotel offers fantastic amenities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, a play area, a Massage Hut, the Sundown (tipi) restaurant, a beautiful vegetable garden, and a scenic walk through the woods to Cromer Beach.
In 1936, Bob and Hilda Graveling purchased The Grove, and three generations later, it is run by five of their grandchildren, with the youngest, Ruth, managing the glamping site. Ruth and her siblings spent their childhood summers camping in the garden, and she has now recreated that idyllic experience, infusing it with a touch of luxury.
The glamping site opened its doors for the first time in 2015, and in 2022, Ruth and her husband Rich added the Shepherd's Hut to complement the Mongolian yurts. Cromer is a wonderful destination for family holidays, featuring beautiful beaches and the Norfolk Broads just a 30-minute drive away. In May 2024, we were honored to be recognized by the Evening Standard as one of the top 15 Coastal Glamping Sites in the UK.
