Winter at The Grove Glamping
Toast Marshmallows...
Winter brings a whole different feel to The Grove Glamping. With just two of our glamping stays open through the winter, the site becomes quieter, cosier and more intimate — perfect for a peaceful family escape or a winter adventure by the coast.
Choose between our Shepherd’s Lodge, sleeping up to 5, or our Roundhouse, sleeping up to 6. Both have their own wood-burning stove, making them wonderfully cosy places to retreat to after a day exploring. The Shepherd’s Lodge also has underfloor heating, so you can stay warm and toasty whatever the weather.
Outside, embrace the winter evenings around the fire. The Shepherd’s Hut has its own private fire pit, while guests staying in the Roundhouse can enjoy the main glamping fire pit.
There’s still plenty to do during the colder months. Take a dip in The Grove’s heated indoor swimming pool, let the kids burn off some energy in the play area, or wrap up warm and head out for a bracing walk along the spectacular North Norfolk coastline.
Winter adventures by the sea
Winter is also a fantastic time to experience Cromer. On Boxing Day, hundreds of brave (and slightly crazy!) swimmers take part in the famous Cromer Boxing Day Dip, often dressed in spectacular fancy dress. Then, as the New Year arrives, head into Cromer to watch the spectacular fireworks launched from Cromer Pier. And if you fancy making a night of it, The Grove often hosts its own New Year celebrations too.
Cosy evenings. Wild coastlines. Winter adventures. A very different side of The Grove Glamping.
